Photo Guidelines, what photos are/aren't allowed on my profile?

All pictures on SingleMuslim.com go through our standard approval process, to ensure there's nothing offensive, fake, contact details or other inappropriate content. The following guidelines should give you an idea of what is and isn't allowed on our service.
 

Photos you can upload:

My Primary Photo:
This must be closely cropped face images of yourself only, similar to your passport photo. The main reason for this is to keep the photo gallery consistent and to ensure that primary images are clear to all browsers.

My Public Photos:
Here you can upload pictures of yourself with family or friends, holiday photos, or photos of you partaking in hobbies/activities. Full length and group photos are also acceptable here. This helps other users to get a feel for what you're about.

My Private Photos:
If you're camera-shy, or just don't want to share your pictures with everyone, feel free to post them into your Private Gallery. You can upload photos that fit within the above guidelines.

 

Photos you cannot upload:

  • Images that are not of yourself or your family.
  • Individual pictures of children under the age of 16.
  • Images that you don't have permission to use or breach copyright.
  • Images that contain email addresses, web links or advertisements.
  • Images that interfere with other User's enjoyment of the site.
  • Images that discriminate against any persons race, ethnicity, gender, disability, religion, beliefs or any other preferences.
  • Images that are inappropriate for the site; sexy, adult, semi-nude, unlawful or un-Islamic.
  • Images that breach our Terms and Conditions.


At our sole discretion we will remove any image that we deem inappropriate or which may violate our terms and conditions.
